Who We Are

We may be a small town but we have big hearts!  Our crew consists of about 20 men and women who devote countless hours each year to the volunteer fire service.  We run over 350 calls every year with about 90% of those being medical in nature.  Our emergency medical responders answer calls at all hours and will provide assistance until the transporting ambulance arrives.  Our fire fighters are sent to reports of any kind of fire including brush fires, structure fires, vehicle fires, and forest fires.  We respond to vehicle accidents involving hazardous materials and/or injuries and we can assist law enforcement with searches and recoveries.

Throughout the year we host multiple training classes at the station as well as attend training at other agencies.  We join with the City of Friendsville and give out candy at Halloween and send representatives to other city events.  We frequently host scout troops and elementary classes at the station to teach them about the fire service and have several fundraisers throughout the year.
